Foster Youth Giving Tree
Every child deserves to feel seen, loved, and remembered—especially during the holidays. This year, Adoption Finder invites you to join our Foster Youth Giving Tree Initiative, a heart-warming mission to bless foster children, teens and young adults who often go overlooked in traditional toy drives or go without gifts during the holidays.
What Is the Giving Tree?
The Giving Tree is a community-wide initiative that connects individuals, churches, and businesses with local foster youth in need of Christmas gifts, essential items, and encouragement. Each ornament on our virtual (and physical) tree represents a real child or young adult—someone who could use a reminder that they are not forgotten.
When you choose a tag, you’re helping fill more than a wishlist—you’re helping fill a heart.
Who We Serve
This program supports:
- Children (ages 0-12) who are often without gifts
Foster teens (ages 13–21) who are often left out of toy drives or without gifts - Aging-out young adults transitioning into independent living.
- Youth in group homes or transitional programs connected to our partner agencies.
Each recipient receives personalized gifts, hygiene kits, and hand-written encouragement cards from volunteers and donors.
How You Can Get Involved
1. Sponsor a Foster Youth
Choose a child’s tag from our virtual Giving Tree and shop for their specific wishes. You’ll receive a short bio and drop-off/shipping instructions.
2. Give a Financial Gift
Don’t have time to shop? Donate directly, and our team will handle the shopping and delivery for you.

3. Host a Tree
Churches, schools, and businesses can host their own Giving Tree with ornaments provided by Adoption Finder. We’ll supply digital materials, printable tags, and instructions to make it easy.
4. Volunteer or Partner
Help us wrap gifts, deliver packages, or sponsor a youth home. Corporate sponsors can provide matching donations, gift cards, or group sponsorships.
Why It Matters
Many foster youth spend Christmas without family, stability, or warmth. Through the Giving Tree, we show them they are known, valued, and deeply loved—reminding each one that they are created with purpose and made in the image of God.
